    Position summary

    nipulates hand or foot levers to control movements of machine spreads and levels asphalt on subgrade of highway and related surfaces such as parking lots, streets, etc

    • Collaborating with the paving crew for even asphalt distribution

    • Adjusting the screed height and angle to ensure proper distribution

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Must submit to a drug screen, criminal background check and DOT physical.

    • Current driver's license and reliable source of transportation.

    • Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

    Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    • Previous experience in the construction and paving industry preferred.
