Position Overview
As a Finance & Accounting Intern within the Shared Services Center (SSC), you will gain valuable exposure to key financial processes while supporting the Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P) departments. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, transaction management, and process optimization within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
To perform this job successfully , an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Assist the different departments with the design of new procedures, training plan and document testing results on new processes. Support integration and standardization of localized finance activities into shared services departments and new platforms.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the SSC to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insight into shared services operations and financial best practices.
Assist with the organization and planning for the creation and building of a new SSC from the ground up.
Execute a team project with the other interns: Develop an onboarding deck that highlights the business requirements and how shared services fulfill them. Present the deck to SSC leadership team at the end of the internship.
Other duties as assigned.
This internship is ideal for students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, offering practical experience in a corporate finance environment while developing analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Power Point
Work Requirements
Must be 18 years old or older.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Willingness to work independently and within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Able to read and/or follow written and verbal instructions and implement the same.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to actively listen

Normal office working conditions. The Alpharetta, GA office space offers an open concept and the noise level is usually quiet
