research, analyze, and integrate data to provide information on human resource programs to the HR manager
Assist in preparing and making presentations to employees
Administer human resources-related trainings to employees
Guide hiring managers with employment-related decisions
Lead employee relations investigations
Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions regarding company policies, practices and regulations
Manage employee life cycle processes for local office, including onboarding and offboarding
Process employee verifications as needed
Assist in the compliance of HR/Employment laws
Plan and lead employee engagement events for local offices and employees
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific duty
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Requirements
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
Report to work at the designated start time.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Working knowledge of employment laws, including EEO, FMLA, OSHA and FLSA
Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality
Requires proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and the ability to make presentations to the workforce
Must have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required
Education / Experience
Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or similar related field preferred
Prefer 2 years of progressive experience in human resources, employee relations, or related field
Requirements
Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
A working knowledge of customer specifications required.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.
Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
High standard of ethics, integrity and trust.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook.
Moderate travel is required; must be willing to work in or travel to other locations as needed.
Must be available as needed during non-traditional work hours.
Must be able to work independently and with groups.
Must display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors and general public at all times.
