    Position summary

    and analyzing data to improve process flow and efficiency. This role will give you a deep dive into the mining process, from blasting to production, and offer opportunities to contribute to important projects.

    You can expect:

    • Site visits to facilities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

    • Exposure to the complete mining and aggregate production process.

    • Opportunities to write reports and make recommendations on improving processes.

    • Working in a fast-paced environment with mentorship from industry professionals.

    • A chance to learn about budgeting, throughput costs, and labor requirements.

    What You Will Do:

    • Assist Mining Engineers and Supervisors in reviewing the workflow of aggregates at quarry facilities.

    • Analyze processes to improve production flow and efficiency, including evaluating safety, costs, and deposit characteristics.

    • Contribute to the layout and direction of mine construction operations.

    • Collect and analyze data to improve cycle times in load/haul fleets and crusher operations.

    • Write reports based on your findings and input data into software programs.

    • Support the development of labor, equipment, and cost analysis for budget preparations.

    Requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

    -Able to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments, both independently and in a team setting.

    • Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including nights and weekends.

    • Valid driver's license.
