Intern: Hot Mix Asphalt Mechanical Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Assist in maintenance projects, including design, fabrication, and installation at HMA facilities.
• Support maintenance cost tracking efforts and help evaluate existing facilities for future capital projects.
• Participate in general maintenance tasks and operational needs at various HMA locations.
• Develop and assist in the implementation of new lock out/tag out procedures.
• Gain hands-on experience in operating equipment such as Front End Loaders and Skid Steers.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or planning to enroll in a college degree program.
• Basic computer skills, ability to write reports, and analyze data.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license.
