ation for month end close. This role will also be responsible for the training plan and coordination of training delivery for each go-live. They are the final reviewer and quality controller of education and release notes to ensure that our end users fully understand all release details.
Job Responsibilities
Complete testing of development and configurations in the pre-production environment
Review and validate all release notes for clear understanding
Review all training documentation for accuracy after creation
Continuously provide feedback for training video improvement and test questions
Complete UAT (User Acceptance Testing) schedule, perform training, and maintain logs of all issues or requests
Perform online training for go-lives or major release training
Continuously review system changes and update UAT scenarios
Provide deskside support and training during go-lives and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) activities
Participate in post go-live support
Complete review and hand-off to help desk support for each go-live
Contribute to the development of instructional and participant materials, including objectives, training documentation, visual aids, testing, training instruments, and course handouts; provide feedback regarding effectiveness and ease of use
Utilize classroom, remote, and individual instruction
Learn all modules of the software to the point of becoming an expert
Develop a familiarity with the workings of APG business units to serve as the voice of the business customer to IT
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work-related experience
Agile training & certification is a plus
Experience with month end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, cost accounting, and fixed assets
Understanding of accounting rule and posting concepts
Proven experience in Infor M3, Lawson M3, Movex, or Oracle Transportation Management System (OTM) is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Project
Expert with Microsoft Excel
Ability to travel up to 75%
Ability to train, relate, and communicate with varying technical aptitude
Background in IT Large System Applications support (Infor M3, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Oracle TMS platforms preferred)
