Purpose of the Role
The Infrastructure & Cloud Manager plays a critical role in shaping and leading Leviat's global technology foundation. This position is responsible for the design, delivery, stability and continuous evolution of our core IT infrastructure across Azure, data‑centre environments and M365 services.
As a strategic leader, the role oversees all cloud and infrastructure operations, ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with the organisation's growth ambitions. This includes leading a high‑performing technical team to administer, monitor and optimise our cloud and on‑premise environments, while driving operational excellence and service reliability.
The Infrastructure & Cloud Manager also provides governance over configuration, support models, updates and change management-ensuring robust compliance, clear communication, and seamless service delivery to the business. This is a pivotal role for a forward‑thinking leader who is passionate about modernising infrastructure and enabling digital transformation across a global enterprise.
Key tasks & responsibilities
Define and deliver the enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategy, shaping the future of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services across the organisation.
Lead and develop the IT team responsible for cloud and data‑centre operations, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives and outstanding service delivery.
Oversee and optimise Microsoft 365 tenant operations, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Power BI, with a focus on performance, availability, user experience and scalability.
Drive and manage core infrastructure initiatives, including full data‑centre lifecycle management, ensuring secure, reliable and resilient operations across all environments.
Own vendor and service‑provider performance, managing relationships against clear KPIs and SLAs to ensure operational excellence and cost‑effective service delivery.
Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for cloud and infrastructure platforms, ensuring future‑proofing, innovation and alignment with the wider digital strategy.
Ensure GDPR and global data‑protection compliance, embedding strong governance and controls across all regions and technology services.
Maintain high‑quality documentation, including configurations, run‑books, operational procedures and process guides to support consistent, reliable operations.
Collaborate closely with other IT functions, ensuring seamless integration, knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across the technology organisation.

Key Functional Competencies & Relevant Experience
10+ years' experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 5 years specialising in Microsoft Azure, delivering secure, scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
Deep expertise in Azure architecture, governance and best practices, with hands‑on experience designing, deploying and optimising enterprise‑grade Azure environments.
Strong working knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Microsoft server ecosystems (Windows Server), Active Directory, DNS, MFA, SSO/SAML, and the Microsoft 365 suite (including administration and tenant‑level controls).
Proven track record delivering high‑availability and high‑performance systems across geographically dispersed or multinational business units.
Experience managing and optimising the performance of external partners, including offshore and nearshore service providers, ensuring delivery excellence via clear KPIs and SLAs.
Solid understanding of information‑security principles, risk management and secure‑by‑design practices across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
Demonstrates awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, with a continuous commitment to learning, innovation and modernisation.
Experienced people leader with the ability to mentor, coach and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability and growth.
Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional project teams and business stakeholders.
