We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join the Corporate Legal & Compliance Team based in Dublin for a one-year fixed contract. Reporting to Senior Legal Counsel, this person will work alongside the Corporate Legal & Compliance Team (based in Dublin and Atlanta), providing legal advice and support to the CRH business and corporate functions. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple workstreams and demands in a proactive and solution focussed manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal, contracts manager or legal graduate looking for valuable legal and commercial experience, working alongside a supportive and collaborative team in a large global company.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Manage the commercial contracts process for a variety of stakeholders including the Group Functions and Procurement.
Assist with preparing and providing Legal trainings to various corporate and business departments.
Work collaboratively as part of the Corporate Legal and Compliance team, including administrative and co-ordination support such as maintaining the internal know-how systems, managing meeting agendas, and taking minutes.
Draft initial versions of corporate legal documents.
Liaise directly with various internal stakeholders on their requests for legal assistance, keeping them updated on status and prioritising appropriately.
Assist with budget management, tracking external legal spend.
Carry out research on legal and regulatory queries.
Assist with horizon scanning with respect to statutory and regulatory updates that impact the CRH businesses.
Support the culture of the team and the attainment of collective goals for the team's development.

Ability to manage various competing demands under tight deadlines and strong organisational skills.
Ability to distil legal information and analysis into concise and understandable advice.
Positive and proactive attitude with a focus on identifying solutions.
IT literacy in MS packages (Outlook; Word; Excel).
Experience / Education
You are/have:
Undergraduate degree and/or experience working as a paralegal or contracts manager preferred.
Experience supporting a busy corporate office is a plus.
Fluent in written and oral business English.
