imary responsibility is account management, providing exceptional service, identifying opportunities within current accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, while supporting our inbound material strategy in collaboration with aggregates, logistics, and sales teams. The position requires regular travel to the Parsippany, NJ office and monthly visits to tri-state operations, with vehicle reimbursement provided.
Roles and Responsibilities
(Essential Duties and Functions)

Lead generation and qualificiation - identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
Relationship building - developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers to foster repeat business and identify new opportunities
Sales Target Achievement - meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue tagets for assigned territory
Order management and processing - mangaging the sales process from initial contact to order fulfillment, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Responsbile for working with the Credit Department and assisting with the Collections process.
CRM (Salesforce.com) updating with daily Sales Calls to log all customer interactions and Market Intel
Maintaining an accurate backlog and working with multiple lines of business to ensure proper long term and short term sourcing
Collaborate with other Sales Personel to make sure Tilcon is supplier of choice for all products and services
Active participation in various trade associations and community involvement
Ability to work in a fast pace environment with ease
People person with good communication skills
Problem solver with ability to create solutions
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery modes, and geography
Keep management informed of activity in sales markets
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to successfully complete all tasks in a timely manner
Displays professional demeanor both on the phone and in person
Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/ tasks
Regular and timely attendance is required.
Marginal Duties and Functions
Assist with other departmental needs (safety meetings, sales meetings, hauler meetings, etc)
Assists other departments as requested or assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
Required
High School Degree
Ability to understand and apply State and US DOT rules and regulations.
Preferred
4-year college degree; or four to five-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the preferred knowledge, skills and abilities.
High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Work Requirements
Strict adherence to safety requirements and company procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends when required.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA. Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position is: Face Shield, Safety Glasses, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, Dust masks & Hearing Protection.
Experience in customer service or regulations
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Knowledge of State and US DOT rules and regulations.
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Compensation & Company Benefits:
Competitive Base Salary is 75,000 to $80,000
