This is an onsite role based in Shakopee, MN
Job Responsibilities
Direct all plant manufacturing processes and ensure quality products while maintaining a safe work environment
Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow and workforce utilization as well as participating in the procurement of raw materials, supplies and other production needs
Planning and establishing work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals
Responsible for inventory management labor, production efficiency and cost controls
Provide leadership to staff, assessing performance in accordance with employment law compliance
Scheduling and directing all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency
Monitor key metrics, safety, production flow and material costs
Implement process improvement methods and ensure non-stop operations and ongoing production in an effective, safe and profitable manner
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
Ability to torch and weld ferrous metals
Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge and able to troubleshoot
Ability to read blueprints and use electrical testing equipment
Ability to use handheld pneumatic chipping hammer
2+ years' experience with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Compensation
Salary is $100,000 - $110,000
