Oversight of employees and equipment
Accurately report production
Conduct shift huddles daily
Communicate issues related to safety, quality, maintenance, production
Participate in and oversee Lock Out Tag Out and CPM
Lead and maintain safety and plant policies
Assist with inventory, both finished goods and raw material
Oversight of Quality of production on shift
Operate all machines and equipment, including mobile equipment, as needed
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines
Establish, assign, and communicate job responsibilities and schedules for personnel
Supervise and evaluate job performance
Monitor and maintain records of attendance
Participate in, conduct, and ensure safety meetings and training sessions are held
Review production data and prepare reports
Assist employees with production issues and ensure satisfactory production operations
Provide information regularly to site leadership regarding current operations and manpower status
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
Four years' experience in a manufacturing organization
At least 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing organization
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Microsoft Office proficiency
Proven mentoring and leadership ability
Ability to wear all required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, ear protection
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Requires often lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, twisting, sitting, standing, climbing, reaching
Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders while maintaining 3 points of contact at all times
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a dusty environment
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, including extreme heat and cold
