The program will run from early June through early August and will provide exposure to valuable learning opportunities within the corporate functions of the organization through assignments, projects, and collaboration. Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator Summer Intern will work closely with the Director of Strategic Accounts on several facets of one or more of APG's industry-leading brands, including:
Sales Strategy - working with sales leadership to develop customized sales strategies for strategic accounts both nationally and regionally.
Financial Reporting - working with Director of Strategic Accounts and finance team to generate monthly / quarterly sales reports
Sales Training and Support - develop tools, training and content designed to help our team sell more effectively.
Product Development - digging into packaging design and product launch strategies
Solutions Integration - exploring opportunities to effectively communicate with our teams to identify opportunities across CRH and APG brands.
Tradeshows & Industry Events - getting hands-on with developing and executing tradeshow strategy for one or more major APG events
A successful candidate will identify one area of focus and work with the Director of Strategic Accounts to develop and execute a special project during their Internship. This project will be presented to APG's VP- and C-level leadership at the end of the program.
Job Responsibilities
Quickly get up to speed on APG brands through self-driven research and interviews with key stakeholders
Attending sales meetings and providing input on potential sales techniques.
Conducting and analyzing market research to identify sales opportunities.
Preparing and delivering sales presentations.
Supporting administrative tasks like data input, scheduling, and order processing.
Present Special Project to APG leadership with minimal support from Director of Strategic Accounts
Job Requirements
Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree Program in Junior year of College or Third year of University (Anticipated Graduation date of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026)
Concentration or Area of Study in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Communications
Ability to attend program hosted in Atlanta, GA
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A dedication to organization, time management and ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to requests and challenges quickly.
Familiarity with MS Office products, especially PowerPoint.
Strong willingness to learn, grow and explore multiple opportunities.
