The Utility Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and leading crews who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing utility systems, including water, storm, and sewer, etc. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in utility operations, a proven ability to lead teams effectively, meet production requirements and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads, motivates, and directs a crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
Plan and organize daily work schedules to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure resources are allocated appropriately.
Monitor work quality by inspecting installed work for accuracy against plans and specifications.
Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Build the project following and meeting the construction drawings/plan requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience in utility operations, with a strong understanding of water and sewer systems within a construction setting.
Prior experience in a similar role.
Ability to read and interpret plans.
Proficient in operating and maintaining utility tools and equipment.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Required to comprehend and follow established safety guidelines and processes.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
