Leverages experience and cross references trends within Pharma, Biotech and Dx to inform future direction of CSL.
Leads strategic projects end to end with little oversight and tight interactions with leadership including GLG and CEO.
Drive continuous improvement in strategic planning processes.
Manage Corporate Development projects and external resources in the design, development, and delivery of projects of varying complexity.
Drive simulations capability, working with internal SMEs and external modelers to design, validate and run models to generate new insights into short, medium and long-term corporate strategy to drive value creation over the long term.
Supports M&A activities, bringing strategic context to consideration of large M&A or transformational targets.
Work with the Therapeutic Area Leadership Teams and various functions (e.g. Commercial, R&D, Operations) to ensure that their strategic planning and output is aligned with the corporate strategic plan.
Iterate new opportunities and issues from the TALTs and functions into the corporate planning process.
Ensure the enterprise view is represented in a consistent and collaborative way when the project or assets of interest impact multiple TAs or business functions (e.g. platform monoclonal antibodies, connected healthcare, digital transformation etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
MSC / PhD and MBA level
10+ years of consulting / industry experience strongly preferred
Experience navigating cross functional org structure; high EQ and strong reliability & accountability
Ability to pivot and stay course for value creation - open mindset and ability to challenge the unknown
Influencing skills, strong focus on value creation and reliability
Background in consulting optimal
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and stakeholders.
