RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Financial Internal Controls: Assess internal controls and develop remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks. Adapt to changing business needs to maintain robust financial controls.
Financial Regulations Acumen: Evaluate applicable regulations for the financial area of focus to ensure compliance. Educate relevant stakeholders on key requirements and implications.
Financial Reporting: Analyze financial data to support business decisions. Prepare and present financial information in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations. Partner with stakeholders to drive financial performance aligned with organizational goals.
Technical Accounting Assessment: Evaluate and research transactions to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP): Understand and apply US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies. Communicate the implications of these standards to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification is preferred.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Additional Information/Experience:
Degree in Accounting required.
As this is a hybrid role, will need to be within driving distance of Columbus, IN and available to be in the office two days per week.
