RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role the following is preferred:
(Intermediate) Technician Level II:
Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for a diesel technician at this location.
Primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair.
Some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians.
CDL is a nice to have but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Trade School with 3-5 years' experience preferred.
Experience:
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products
Includes basis maintenance to major repair work such as engine overhauls or replacements, Clutch replacement, brakes steering and suspension work, Trouble shooting, ETC.
A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
A current valid license is required for this role
Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
