Equipment Compliance: Maintains testing equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to compliance standards.
Customer-Facing Technical Support: Acts as the primary contact for diagnosing and executing complex generator repairs, ensuring prompt and effective service.
Team Development: Coaches technicians and apprentices, sharing expertise and reviewing repair plans to elevate team performance and knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in commissioning processes, equipment testing, and understanding of RAMS to ensure safe and effective operations.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain compliance of testing equipment and support quality inspections with precision and accuracy.
Collaboration & Communication Skills: Confidence in participating in design meetings and working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to align on technical solutions.
Organizational & Site Management Abilities: Capability to support site operations, manage documentation, and contribute to smooth project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
Intermediate field service work experience
Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
Customer service experience
