    Position summary

    Compliance and Strategy** Through reporting and analysis, you'll help evaluate plan effectiveness and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to strategic assessments.

    • Enhance Annual HR Processes You'll play a key role in executing and assessing standard processes like merit reviews and benefits enrollment, ensuring smooth and effective delivery.

    • Shape Global Compensation Strategies As a team member in global initiatives, you'll contribute to the development and refinement of compensation and benefits policies that support organizational goals.

    • Empower HR Through Training You'll design and deliver training for managers and HR partners, building capability and confidence in compensation and benefits practices.

    • Drive Innovation Through Market Research By researching external trends and potentially leading initiatives to integrate findings, you'll help evolve internal practices to stay ahead of industry standards.

    • Compensation and Benefits Administration - Translates Cummins plan design, statutory and tax requirements in the communication and delivery of compensation and benefit programs.

    • Compensation Design - Designs and develops programs, policies, processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizational goals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations for Cummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design of organizational programs.

    • Human Resources Consulting - Collaborates with partners to observe the environment and apply sound judgment informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to diagnose, identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, while balancing the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.

    • Mobility Administration - Implements and administrates operational processes to ensure the seamless movement of talent in alignment with applicable policies, taxation, immigration laws, global cash payroll, local legislation and internal controls procedures.

    • Training Delivery - Instructs learners in a manner that engages and adjusts to individual and group needs resulting in knowledge, skills and abilities that can be applied on the job.

    • Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.

    Experience:

    • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Partner closely with the Total Rewards Business Integration team (CoE) to deliver compensation programs and provide input into new program design (both global and regionally specific); Attend global TR Integration Partner meetings as needed to support strategic initiatives related to their portfolio of work

    • Perform regular and ad-hoc compensation analysis to support proactive recommendations, negotiations with bargaining groups and decision making

    • Advise employees and managers on general compensation queries; includes the day-to-day interaction with the businesses and functions on general compensation needs (new hire, policy interpretation, retention needs, etc)

    • Administration of annual compensation cycle for North America

    • Consult with employees and manager with questions about cross-border moves & compensation calculations as needed

    • Geographic differentials as needed, identifying needs and analysis to recommend use of differentials

    • Provision of data/reporting required by local regulations

    • Support of local compensation programs related to North America sites/businesses
