RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Level II Technician : Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for a diesel technician at this location; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians. Cummins engine diagnostic experience - preferably on Transit busses

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification (optional)
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Cummins engine diagnostic experience - preferably on Transit busses.
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)
Customer service experience
QUALIFICATIONS
On Site Resident Technician
A current valid license is required for this role
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
3 years driving experience
This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
