    You'll take ownership of challenging customer issues, using your deep understanding of Cummins systems and processes to investigate and resolve problems quickly and thoroughly.

    Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration

    You'll coordinate with internal teams—like logistics, manufacturing, and quality—to align efforts and ensure customer needs are met, fostering a collaborative and responsive service environment.

    Maintain Compliance and Documentation

    Your attention to detail will ensure all export and shipping documentation complies with regulations, reducing risk and supporting global trade compliance.

    Champion Quality and Continuous Improvement

    By identifying and reporting quality issues through the Quality Management System, you'll help improve product and process standards, contributing to long-term customer trust and product excellence.

    Support Strategic Reporting and Insights

    You'll prepare and share customized reports that provide valuable insights to both customers and internal teams, supporting data-driven decisions and proactive service.

    Contribute to Process Innovation

    Through participation in or leadership of process improvement initiatives, you'll help evolve the customer support function into a more proactive, efficient, and customer-centric operation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    Strong Collaboration Skills

    Build effective partnerships across departments (logistics, manufacturing, quality) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution.

    Tailor your communication style to different audiences—customers, internal teams, and leadership—ensuring clarity and alignment at every stage of the order life cycle.

    Customer-Centric Mindset

    Prioritize customer satisfaction by understanding their needs, proactively managing expectations, and delivering timely, accurate solutions.

    Deep Understanding of the Order Life Cycle

    Know each phase of the order process and how it connects to customer support, enabling you to manage orders from entry to delivery with confidence.

    Proficiency in Order Management Systems

    Navigate system screens to process orders, handle modifications, and respond to queries accurately and efficiently.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

    College or equivalent degree preferred.

    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. * *

    *Experience: *

    Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience in customer order management, account management or in the supply chain field.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Manage and align order board based off customer's needs and our projected ship dates.

    Process International shipping documents accurately and in a timely manner.

    Manage internal and external forecast.

    Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

    This position is required to be onsite. There are options for some remote work, but the majority of the work is expected to be onsite.
