    Position summary

    reporting any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard through internal reporting processes. Assists in closure of corrective and preventive actions. Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation and risk assessment processes. Communicate effectively to create HSE awareness. Participates in environmental management activities. Perform basic administrative tasks as required. Check Participate in HSE inspection and audit programs. Gathers data for the analysis of HSE related trends. Act Deliver on objectives and targets. Assists in maintenance of local HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Support health, safety, environmental and wellness initiatives. Participate in local employee engagement initiatives to drive an interdependent culture. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality checks. Identifies and controls non-conforming material. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

    Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.

    Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems - Interprets and applies international standards through practical application within the operating environment to achieve and maintain an effective management system and external certification.

    Risk Assessment - Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, enabling a selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

    College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, or Sustainability preferred.

    Experience:

    Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
