RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Controls Safety - Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.

Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Must meet one of the following minimum requirements:
• Must possess 7 years' experience working in the relevant Trade field.
• Successful completion of an approved 4-year, 8000 hours on-the-job training apprenticeship program with the related course of study, plus 1 year working in the pertinent Trade Field.
• 2-year Technical Degree in the related field (Machine Repair, Electrical or Tool Design), plus 3 years' experience working in the field of this particular Skilled Trade.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.Services, supports, and maintains all Industrial Machine equipment for the assigned area.
This includes both PM and repair tasks, troubleshooting, installations, reading and interpretation of blueprint and tool drawings is required. Works on various equipment: hydraulics, pneumatic s, lubrication, spindle, gear head, hydro-static systems, CNC's, ballscrews, ways, transmissions, conveyors, gantry's, etc.
Responds quickly to down issues to troubleshoot and repair as needed.
Responsible for the smooth operation of the machinery used in both production and non-production areas.
Utilizes the Maximo system for all PM and WO tasks, while adding failure remarks for the work completed.
Uses time wisely to complete tasks to minimize equipment downtime. Basic electrical knowledge is a must.
Regularly communicates any equipment issues with management.
Must be flexible to support the plant in any matter that is needed.
Provide active training and act as a mentor for the Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program.
