RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong Bilingual Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and requesters in both German and English.
Proficiency in Metallographic Sample Preparation: Skills in cutting, embedding, grinding/polishing, and etching samples as needed.
Expertise in Lab Equipment and Analysis Methods: Experience with established analysis methods and lab equipment such as FTIR, SEM/EDX, digital microscopes, hardness testers, and sample preparation tools.
Report Writing Skills: Ability to create comprehensive summary reports that include assessments and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
Knowledge of MS Office tools is also preferred.
