Assists in testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology
Prepare test articles and associated fixtures, rigs, and equipment for testing
Demonstrates an understanding of the function of test equipment and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of test results
Demonstrates knowledge of the functioning of the product under test to assess the contribution of the product to the validity of the test result.
Performs test stand installation, troubleshooting and setups and the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Performs other duties as required
In the role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Disassemble and rebuild production and experimental engines and components, measures, and records measurements
Configure and operate data acquisition systems; analyze and review data for appropriateness
Install engines and components in test cells or test rigs
Fabricate necessary piping, tubing, and brackets from prints and drawings
Diagnose engine and test cell problems
Configure and operate engines or rigs, measuring and recording data as requested, and performs preventative maintenance on engines, test cells, or test rigs

RESPONSIBILITIES
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required
Regionally applicable certification or two-year associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience
Minimal relevant experience required. School to work program experience in relevant field preferred
