    RESPONSIBILITIES

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Support the Capital Manager to run internal systems to ensure clear understanding of current capital expenditure, coordinating input from all functions worldwide

    • Support the Capital Manager to run the capital forecast process and business functions to manage capital allocation / risks and exposures

    • Ensure timely reporting of capital status both within Cummins Components and Software (CCS) and onward line leadership

    • Respond to short notice capital requirements (create analysis, reports / presentations for stakeholders)

    • Work closely with worldwide finance functions in CCS to support project work and the day-to-day administration of capital management systems

    • Understanding new business requirements, support improvement and undertake a post investment audit

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Working towards a Degree in either Business or Accounting ideally with a background in Finance or Business Processes, databases, systems operation and analysis

    • Previous experience within a manufacturing or commercial environment would be an advantage, particularly with data analysis responsibilities

    • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. An understanding of Power BI would be advantageous, however full training would be provided.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well within a team and use your initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility
