Provide high voltage and low voltage expertise: You will apply advanced electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve challenging power generation issues.
Support team capability: You will coach junior technicians and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and reviewing testing/troubleshooting plans to improve team performance.
Maintain accurate documentation: You will complete service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims and quality documents to ensure proper reporting and compliance.
Keep tools and equipment ready: You will maintain your service vehicle and specialized tools in optimal condition to deliver efficient and professional service.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit
Intermediate field work experience
Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
Customer service experience
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong technical expertise: Significant field experience and expert-level knowledge of power generation products, including both high voltage and low voltage systems.
Customer focus: Ability to deliver excellent customer service, build trust, and manage on-site interactions professionally.
Problem-solving and repair skills: Capability to diagnose complex issues, use specialized tools, and follow procedures to complete high-quality testing.
Coaching mindset: Experience guiding and supporting junior technicians, sharing knowledge, and contributing to overall team development.
