    Position summary

    rs to establish project performance goals; designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline. Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues. Monitors and communicates project status to the project team. Conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines. Facilitates change management initiatives in the Procurement function. Manages project risk- uses quality tools to identify risk areas; works with others on and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions. Documents and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the project's success. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on the status of specific projects and assignments. May coach and mentor less experienced team members. Competencies:

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    College, university, or equivalent bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience is required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Experience:

    Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required.

    Prior experience of participating in change management initiatives is preferred.

    7+ Intermediate experience in purchasing system as the technical or functional support with good knowledge of procurement source to pay process is preferred. Certified Ariba Cloud, Ivalua, or Oracle support is preferred.

    Drive continuous system and process improvements by providing systems analysis to purchasing system(s) for Indirect and Direct, leading problem-solving process to identify issues, true customer needs, research potential solutions, makes recommendations, and communicate the changes effectively to all teams

    Follows Cummins' project management methodology to support or lead related projects or change requests from business requirement collection, system design & built, SIT/UAT testing, and post implementation change control process.

    Develop and manage the system testing process, tests changes and patches

    Reviews and configures application changes per defined process

    Keep purchasing system assigned in compliance with Cummins and local policies by leading system auditing and cleaning up systems accordingly.

    Working hours need to cover at least half US work hours or more when needed
