    Position summary

    ools and data management systems for configuration control and data security.

    • Gain knowledge and apply company, industry, national, and international engineering standards.

    • Support processing of internal engineering work requests and documentation.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and quality as required.

    • Participate in structured training programs and demonstrate continuous learning progress.

    • Assist in product configuration and change management activities including tracking and documentation.

    • Contribute to design validation through exposure to analyses such as dimensional variation and basic simulation activities.

    Skills & Competencies

    Technical Skills

    • Basic understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.

    • Exposure to CAD tools (preferably Creo; sheet metal modeling and drafting knowledge is an advantage).

    • Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

    • Awareness of product lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and casting concepts (preferred).

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication.

    • Proficiency in Creo (sheet metal modeling and drafting).

    • Exposure to casting design is an added advantage.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma, secondary education completion certificate, or equivalent in a STEM-related field (External baseline requirement).

    • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, especially for internal candidates).

    • Must meet eligibility criteria to enroll in a formal apprenticeship or training program.

    • Registration in a regionally certified apprenticeship or training program is required.

    • May require compliance-related licensing (e.g., export controls or sanctions regulations).
