    • Complete all service documentation, warranty claims, technical notes, and diagnostic reports within Cummins systems.

    • Identify potential sales or service opportunities, such as component upgrades, parts requirements, or preventative maintenance improvements.

    • Maintain company tooling, equipment, and service vehicle in safe, clean operating condition.

    • Comply with all Cummins and Rio Tinto Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements, participating actively in hazard reporting, Take 5s, and continuous safety improvement initiatives.

    • Escalate complex technical issues through defined Cummins technical escalation channels to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Significant field service experience with expert-level technical capability in Cummins High Horsepower (HHP) engines (QSK19, QSK38, QSK50, QSK60).

    • Proven experience working on large mining fleets, including:

    • Komatsu 830E haul trucks

    • Komatsu WA1200 loaders

    • Komatsu PC550 excavators

    • Hitachi EX5600-7 excavators

    • Ability to interpret and use Cummins INSITE, electronic diagnostic tools, technical publications, and troubleshooting workflows.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills when working with high-complexity systems and remote field conditions.

    • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service focus.

    • Vocational trade qualification (Cert III Heavy Diesel or equivalent); Apprentice-trained Engine Technician preferred.

    • Valid driver's license and ability to meet site access, medical, and compliance requirements.

    • Safety-first mindset with a strong commitment to following processes, assessing risk, and contributing to a zero-incident workplace.
