d inventory operations by leading root-cause analysis, resolving incidents/problems, and driving continuous improvements that increase inventory accuracy and throughput.
Improve business outcomes by translating complex requirements into pragmatic configurations (MM purchasing, valuation, MRP; EWM structure, putaway/pick, staging, physical inventory) that shorten cycle times and reduce manual work.
Own the change lifecycle-from fit-gap and configuration through testing (unit/SIT/UAT), transport management, and production readiness-so releases land smoothly and predictably.
Strengthen stakeholder trust as the day-to-day SME/point of contact for MM/EWM, aligning architects, process owners, and vendors around priorities, roadmaps, and value realization.
Uphold strong governance by maintaining documentation, adhering to change-control, and ensuring audit, data-quality, and master-data standards for materials, plants, storage locations, and warehouse attributes.
Advance the Quantum transformation by partnering with global support teams to harmonize processes and enable Europe & AME deployments tied to SAP workstreams (S2P, P2B, WM).
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Deep hands-on SAP MM/EWM expertise across configuration, validation, and cross-module integration; plus the judgment to "adopt standard" wherever possible.
End-to-end delivery discipline: fit-gap, functional specs, test design/execution, UAT coordination, transport/change control, and production hypercare.
Stakeholder and vendor partnership skills to prioritize demand, communicate trade-offs, and resolve issues with global teams and implementation partners.
Continuous-improvement mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to turn data, defects, and feedback into measurable operational gains.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years SAP experience with strong MM/EWM configuration (e.g., purchasing, sourcing, release strategies, procurement types, valuation & account determination, MRP, stock/batch mgmt; EWM structure, storage types/bins, putaway/pick, staging, physical inventory).
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA certifications in MM/EWM; exposure to integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft) and interfaces (IDocs/API); Fiori and forms experience.
Familiarity with Solution Manager/CHaRM, incident/problem management, and audit/compliance practices (change control, data governance, master-data quality).
Demonstrated delivery in Source-to-Pay, Plan-to-Build, and Warehouse Management workstreams within S/4HANA programs (e.g., Quantum/global template).
