    Position summary

    • Initiate purchase and work orders to support demand plans.

    • Participate in allocation calls with sourcing managers, suppliers, and other Cummins entities.

    • Work with suppliers to reduce lead times and balance supply with demand.

    • Reposition excess inventory across locations with supporting demand.

    • Provide timely updates on inventory availability and backorder recovery.

    • Manage part change requests and ramp-up/ramp-down activities.

    • Reconcile order boards for critical suppliers and parts.

    • Support supplier improvement initiatives and document action items.

    • Take ownership of supplier schedules to meet customer needs.

    • Participate in improvement projects related to quality, safety, and material flow.
