- Training: 10 weeks, full-time (8 hours/day), Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. No time off is permitted during training.
- Permanent Schedule: Shifts may begin as early as 8:00 AM and end as late as 10:00 PM EST. Schedules are updated quarterly through a shift bid process based on employee performance, attendance, and behavior; open schedules are determined by business needs and managed by Workforce Management (WFM).
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to Medicare Advantage member inquiries via inbound calls, online messages, and written correspondence.
- Provide personalized, compassionate service with patience and professionalism.
- Navigate multiple systems efficiently to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and self-development opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
- Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Creole and English
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience in health insurance or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving the senior population
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Knowledge of Medicare or other health insurance plans
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
