    Position summary

    proving and promoting innovationThe Digital Senior Development Engineer will work closely with product management to plan for sprint work to achieve long-term goals. In this role, you will

    identify opportunities to improve our code, technology stack, and engineering processes. The right candidate also will engage in/lead team discussions to resolve problems and create solutions. The Digital Senior Development Engineer will also facilitate cross-team discussions on issues affecting multiple organizations, applications, and systems.Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Node.Js and related frameworks building web service back ends

    • 3+ years of experience defining, implementing, and testing web service APIs

    • Experience implementing services tailored to a variety of consumers (Web, Native mobile, service to service) using the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) approach

    • Experience working with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline such as Circle CI and Harness


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with Docker and cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS and/or GCP)
    • Experience working with GitHub
    • An open mind about different solutions and a willingness to propose and/or discuss alternatives
    • Experience with event driven architecture and frameworks to support them such as Kafka

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience.)

    The typical pay range for this role is:$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
