You'll also provide guidance during market conduct exams, helping teams determine what documentation is appropriate to submit. By partnering across Commercial Business areas, we proactively identify, remediate, and prevent potential compliance risks-strengthening our overall governance and accountability.
Position Summary:
Identify, remediate and prevent any potential areas of non-compliance
Collaborate effectively across various business areas to strengthen processes and ensure regulatory and internal compliance
Support the business on the SOX 302 attestation process.
Work closely with business areas and SOX Auditors on developing controls and ensuring that the walk throughs are appropriate.
Create, develop, and analyze report results, identify and resolve differences
Develop and maintain process documentation including narratives, flowcharts, and risk/control matrices.
Collaborate with control owners to ensure proper documentation and remediation of deficiencies.
Assist in the development of annual risk assessments.
Summarize test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Monitor remediation efforts and perform re-testing as needed.
Required Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a regulatory compliance position or Internal Audit experience in a relevant business area, preferably within Service Operations
Have a clear understanding of controls and how these can be demonstrated into the various business functions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism
Demonstrated project management skills
Intermediate - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in analyzing report data; problem solving to ensure accuracy
Works well within a team

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Successful candidate must have an understanding of the healthcare industry, in-depth knowledge of Aetna's products, services and business units. They must have familiarity with the regulatory environment in which Aetna operates and possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to effectively collaborate with different audiences is preferred. Independently collects facts and utilizes strong analytical capabilities to recommend appropriate actions on complex matters and effectively communicates status and results in a concise and timely manner. Must be able to effectively prioritize and review the status of assigned work to track progress and manage towards business objectives and compliance due dates.We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
