    Position summary

    for monitoring and evaluating the financial performance of our Individual Exchange business. This role will specifically focus on ACA risk adjustment modeling and analytics. The position is a managerial role overseeing a small team of actuaries responsible for three key functions related to risk adjustment: 1) ownership of the internal algorithm to calculate member level ACA risk scores, 2) financial estimates of the risk transfer position, and 3) valuation of HCC conditions captured through various Revenue Integrity initiatives, such as chart-chase and health home visits. This position is a highly technical, non-traditional actuarial role that requires experience in and a keen interest for working with and creating large datasets in SQL/SAS/R (including enrollment, medical, and pharmacy claim data). The candidate will partner closely with the Revenue Integrity team to drive innovations and improvements in diagnosis code capture/The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, collaborative, has experience building models, analyzing detailed datasets, and clearly communicating the results of their analysis to a variety of audiences. Candidate should have attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and solid communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.     Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience

    ASA designation

    Analytical and model-building skills require

    Experience working with claims data in SAS/SQL.Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience or familiarity with Public Exchanges and/or with CMS risk adjustment models.

    Experience with analyzing data sets in R. Actuarial ASA designation.Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
