Execution of trade terms, pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness to create a profitable and sustainable outcome
Leading the Customer Marketing team to create high impact category and brand plans aimed at driving penetration and based on strong category, competitor and market insights
Segmented focus to drive, in partnership with our Reserve team, growth in the value of the premium portfolio in Greece
Ability to identify and rapidly commercialize opportunities for category or brand innovation, with a defined proportion of our trade investment focused on innovation and growth (and fully integrated with customer plans)
Working closely with the Diageo Corporate Affairs team to ensure continued engagement with Government, NGOs and other key opinion-former stakeholders in support of our corporate reputation, social responsibility and Alcohol in Society agenda
Well-orchestrated selling teams who are focused on both the ‘sell-in' and ‘sell-out' of our brands and who are delivering exceptional results for customers
Determination of forecast and forward investment plan for the channel, assigning appropriate resources and putting in place performance metrics
Exploits the opportunities presented by annual tourism season by having in place appropriate resource and exceptional customer plans
Strong understanding of the external environment, able to anticipate trends and factor them into our plans
Effective use of consumer and shopper insights to drive breakthrough thinking
Member of Commercial Southern Europe leadership team, helping to drive a positive culture and making Diageo a great place to work

About you:
Previous experience in FMCG or Retail company in commercial director roles
Exceptional people leadership skills, with ability to coach, develop, inspire, manage performance and engage a diverse organization
Effective decision-making skills

Exceptional customer management skills, driving customer satisfaction that creates a willingness to build strategic partnerships
