What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend systems used by millions of users
Contribute to our technical roadmap and define the architecture for key product areas
Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and security
Help transition parts of our monolithic codebase to a microservices architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Brazil and the U.S.
Work on high-impact features that directly improve the user experience for Dashers, Merchants, or Consumers
We're excited about you because...
You have experience with backend technologies and distributed systems
You're comfortable with modern web architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, grpc, microservices)
You've worked with relational and non-relational databases
You enjoy solving complex problems with elegant code and clear thinking
You're fluent in English and confident participating in meetings and code reviews in English
You care about quality and write tests to ensure your code works as expected
You take ownership and enjoy working with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
Nice to haves
Experience working at a tech company with scale
Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, or similar JVM languages
Exposure to big data technologies or event-driven architecture
Interest in mentorship or growing into a technical leadership role
