Oversees customs/export issues worldwide. Develops and implements export licensing procedures. Interprets contract terms/conditions for export/import implications and provides direction in all phases of international logistics. Advises functional groups of customs and export regulations. Monitors license use and compliance throughout the organization. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and have a company-wide effect. Typically manages one or more departments of Professional track employees and may have subordinate Supervisors.
