Reporting to the General Manager, the Market Manager, Bracing & Supports will be a key member of the commercial team, responsible for driving strategic direction and portfolio & brand growth across key product lines. This role will use data and insights to drive strategic focus while analysing sales performance and trends to implement strategies that increase market share and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing
Develop, implement and execute annual strategic marketing plans for assigned product portfolio across all channels
Responsible for local product launches and the overall market's business and commercial strategy including:
Create and implement marketing programs and campaigns to drive customer demand, acquisition and adoption
Develop deep knowledge and understanding of assigned portfolio and competitor landscape and determine the most effective methods for disseminating this knowledge to sales to optimize the selling process
Identify and evaluate cross promotional and integrated marketing opportunities with internal business partners and external partners/suppliers to support strategic initiatives
Work collaboratively and creatively with cross functional teams including Sales, Regulatory, Operations and Finance
Develop, track, manage and update key components of the product lifecycle with regular discussion with sales team and supply chain department
Support product development initiatives by providing insights related to VOC and market trends
Leverage data and competitive insights to continuously evolve understanding of the customer, competition, market and trends
Provide product training and technical support to sales & marketing team
Responsible for portfolio results and closely monitor key success metrics including customer acquisition effectiveness, product launches, and win rates for his/her product portfolio
KOL Development
Along with stakeholders, help identify, develop, leverage and maintain key opinion leaders (KOL) relationships
Assist with development and execution of Medical Education programs as part of the overall Strategic Marketing Plans to support the education of HCP's in the ongoing growth & adoption of product portfolio
Leverage KOL relationships for voice of customers (VOC) feedback, research and development and for new idea generation process
Forecasting, Budget & Expense Management
Collaborate with Operations and Demand Planning team to manage supply chain performance of product portfolio
Use market intelligence and knowledge of market trends to complete financial forecasting
Manage relevant marketing budget to ensure effective return on investment to drive business growth
Oversee product sample requests and distribution
Analyze and control expenditures to budget
RFPs and Pricing
Work with team on internal stakeholders to prepare thorough analysis of business opportunity and create RFP strategy
Work with internal partners to support RFP and contract submissions
Other Responsibilities
Develops content and curriculum for employee onboarding, national sales meetings and other training requirements
Lead strategy on National and Regional conferences

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred experience in healthcare
8-12 years of work experience in a product marketing role, preference given to medical device or healthcare experience
Experience:
Knowledge of Canadian healthcare market including reimbursement by third party insurers
Experience working in a matrixed, global organization, highly collaborative on cross-functional projects
Innovative thinker able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex problems and provide actionable insights using a data driven approach
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
Strong consulting, facilitation, project management and relationship management skills
Highly motivated, creative, self-sufficient, able to operate effectively with a team
Travel:
Must be able to travel up to min. of 40% of the time
Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-5 days, overnight, out-of-town stays are required
Hybrid: 3 days a week in office, Tuesday & Wednesday mandatory, third day personal choice
