What You'll Do

The Engineer will be responsible for working with cross functional teams to advance product design changes from concept to high volume production. Apply knowledge of engineering principles and experience to design components and assemblies for projects of small to large size and diverse scope.

Essential Functions. Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on and data-driven root cause-counter measure analysis of mechanical and soft-goods utilizing common problem-solving methodologies.

• Design and build test systems to determine root causes of factory issues and costumer complaints.

• Design, verify and implement mechanical product changes to develop optimal counter measures, all with a data driven approach.

• Work with the Manufacturing teams to create processes, tests, and procedures to improve machine reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

• Work with the Marketing teams to enhance Product Designs of legacy products to improve customer experience.

  • Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Design diagrams and layouts to illustrate detailed part design
  • Identify potential operational issues and basic redesign products to improve functionality

• Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation in accordance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other regulations applicable to manufacturing processes.

• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering functions.

General Skills / Competencies / Specialized Knowledge

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

• 1+ Yr. of Experience in Product Development.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling - SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred.

• English spoken intermediate to preferably an advanced level.
