The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.
Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria and specifications
Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gages, optical inspection and computerized inspection devices as needed
Rejects and returns nonconforming materials and/or products that do not meet applicable specifications and requirements
Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs
Responsible for keeping measuring equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for calibrations and repairs when required
Maintains manufacturing and inspection related documentation
Performs in-process inspections
Supports the quality department with reviews, reports, and audits as needed. Assist with NCR investigations and root cause analysis
Perform DHR Reviews
Assist with onboarding new inspectors
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standard operating procedures and complying with legal regulations
Participates in quality control/assurance related activities
Participates in performance improvement activities, utilizes resources efficiently and effectively takes responsibility for own learning needs
Education, Training, and Experience
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual will need in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The individual may be required to demonstrate proficiency in some of these areas depending on the department and/or job functions assigned. High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of previous work experience in a QC inspector position
Must have a working knowledge of measuring instruments

Previous work experience should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, flexibility, detail-oriented work style, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients at all levels.
Must have legible handwriting
