    l Estate Lead

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Real Estate professional to lead the daily operations of Equinix's EMEA Headquarters corporate building in Amsterdam! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assisting with multiple complex projects, such as refits, event planning and large corporate meetings. Additionally you will be leading vendor /contractor coordination, resolving ad-hoc onsite issues, identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting budget maintenance; all to ensure our office runs smoothly, where you are the face of Equinix for our onsite staff and visitors.

    Responsibilities

    Concierge and Facilitation

    • Provides assistance with internal department communication (i.e., the intranet, SharePoint)

    • Assists with conference centre room booking, responsible for posting conference room schedules and coordinating set up and usage with business partners

    Operations

    • Assists with day to day facilities operations including ticketing system and onsite food services and canteen

    • Seeks to continuously improve processes, systems and overall client satisfaction

    • Ensures appropriate follow up with stake holders

    • Provides direction and information to vendors, service providers and facilities staff as required to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work with minimal disruption

    • Assists with the maintenance system and workorder request

    • Assist with ergonomic assessments and proper desk setups

    • Assists daily sorting, pickups and deliveries of all external and inter-office mail and supports employees on all mail and shipping requirements

    • Supports and lead small facility projects

    Vendor Assistance

    • Assists and supervises contractors for maintenance and improvements

    • Maintain all vendor administration; creating PO's, ensure correct payment, communication with vendor for correct invoicing and in case off a dispute

    Repairs and Maintenance

    • Conducts regular walk-throughs to identify existing building issues

    • Responsible for purchasing new office furnishings

    Property Assistance Coordination

    • Responsible for new hire setup, inter-office shuffles, company moves, and terminations as it relates to Facilities services

    Main office

    • Responsible for all facility services in the main office, welcoming and supervising building contractors

    • Spokesperson for all stakeholders in the main office

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Proven years experience strongly preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred

    • Fluent in English and Dutch must have

    • Health and Safety certifications
