Job Summary

Responsibilities
Help keep our facility's electrical and mechanical systems in great shape by assisting with maintenance tasks
Learn how to check the building and data center alarms to ensure everything is working properly
Support the team in making sure regular maintenance is done on important equipment, either by yourself or with the help of outside experts
Gain skills in fixing equipment and performing repairs
Keep track of site logs and gather important information for permits-this is a key part of your role!
Work alongside experienced staff to respond to any on-site issues and follow their guidance
Start to handle basic incidents on your own as you gain knowledge and experience
Help with simple work requests and assist in setting up circuits
Get involved in ongoing projects, like upgrading lighting and other small tasks
Be ready to work in shifts, including days, nights, and weekends (4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts)
Help resolve customer requests using our ticket system
Report any health and safety concerns to your supervisor
Qualifications
background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
No prior experience in data centers is needed-we're here to help you learn!
A willingness to learn about critical infrastructure like UPS systems, generators, and cooling systems
Self-motivated and flexible attitude
Open to working shifts, including weekends and nights
communication skills to interact with customers
Bonus Points If You Have
Completed an apprenticeship in a related field.
Any experience with high voltage switching.
Basic knowledge of tools like Maximo, Power BI, or MS Office (Word/Excel).
