We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Leader to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue growth through Account-Based Marketing (ABM), customized field marketing events, and data-driven decision-making. This role is essential for aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives by leveraging global campaigns and ensuring smooth lead progression throughout the pipeline.
The position requires a strategic mindset, a data-oriented approach, and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
This role is crucial for driving pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue growth by aligning marketing efforts with sales teams to engage high-priority accounts and convert opportunities into customers.
Responsibilities
Lead a field marketing team and provide strategic direction while collaborating with local marketing teams that impact field marketing activities
Coordinate with demand generation teams to ensure seamless integration between broader campaigns and ABM efforts
Act as a Marketing Strategist to plan, develop, and execute demand acceleration marketing initiatives for key industry verticals to drive business results
Conduct marketing and database analysis on account bases to gain insights into engagement, intent, and other account behaviors that support sales efforts
Partner with the field sales team to develop territory-level and account-level marketing plans that achieve new bookings, pipeline generation, and acceleration goals
Plan, execute, and optimize strategic field marketing events, such as roundtables, roadshows, and account-specific activities, to influence prospects and deepen account engagement
Measure and analyze the results of field marketing to continually refine programs for optimal ROI
Track metrics such as pipeline influence, deal velocity, and revenue contribution, adjusting strategies based on data insights
Conduct regular reporting to key stakeholders, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of marketing experience in the technology sector, preferably in B2B, SaaS, cloud services, or data center solutions, with a solid understanding of market dynamics, partner ecosystems, and the regulatory environment
Proven success in collaborating with sales teams to execute programs that have a measurable impact on the pipeline
Experience managing an impact-focused marketing team, including career progression planning, performance appraisals, and employee engagement and motivation
Proven experience in effectively planning, executing, and tracking lead generation activities while working closely with sales teams to drive lead conversion, with specific experience in closed-loop marketing processes (e.g., SFDC)
Results-oriented with a proactive approach, able to thrive in a performance-driven organization. A self-starter who is always looking to strategically push boundaries
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying Equinix's value to customers and partners, as well as inspiring internal stakeholders for seamless collaboration
Ability to think strategically while being willing to 'get hands dirty' as part of a team
Fluent in both English and Japanese
