Job Summary
The Director of Strategy and Execution will play a pivotal role in driving alignment, efficiency, and execution of the company's most critical strategic communications and marketing initiatives. This role requires a seasoned leader who thrives in complex environments, excels at organizational strategy, and is skilled in navigating cross-functional relationships. Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment & Execution
Partner with senior leadership to prioritize, scope, and deliver key strategic initiatives that align with company objectives
Develop and implement frameworks and systems to ensure alignment and accountability across teams
Translate high-level goals into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Operational Excellence
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of cross-functional programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high impact
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and improve efficiency across the organization
Oversee the rhythm of the business, including planning cycles, leadership meetings, and performance reviews
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a central point of coordination between executive leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent communication and progress updates
Act as a sounding board for senior leadership, providing feedback, insights, and recommendations on strategic decisions
Prepare and manage presentations, reports, and other materials for key stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors
Team Leadership & Development
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, empowering them to achieve their best work
Manage and develop a small team of program managers and analysts as needed, ensuring resource allocation aligns with priorities
Change Management
Drive adoption and understanding of new processes, tools, and initiatives across the organization
Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions for teams and stakeholders
Act as a champion of company culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in all initiatives
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in operations, strategy, or project management, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with a track record of driving large-scale initiatives
Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams and projects, from ideation through execution
