Job Summary
Responsible for driving development and execution of the Americas Partner marketing strategy and programs to achieve sales and marketing goals and objectives. Leads partner marketing in the Americas by implementing, and monitoring effective channel marketing plans that align with business goals. Drives revenue growth through marketing-enabled partner sales, account expansion and targeting of new segments. Balances the need to execute activities with established strategic partners (both resellers and platform partners/strategic alliances), smaller local partners and new engineering/technology partners to drive new product introductions.
Responsibilities
Create demand marketing strategies for channel partners that increase demand and accelerate conversions
Drive digital demand generation with Partners: Leverage digital marketing campaigns (including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising) and funnel to generate leads with Partners
Develop strategies, plans and budgets in alignment with corporate revenue objectives across multiple dimensions including channel awareness, partner education, channel demand generation, partner recruitment, and partner readiness and enablement
Ensure global consistency: Align with Global Partner Experience and Regional Partner Marketing peers to develop and execute consistent partner marketing processes, positioning and messaging. Localize when required
Enhance partner marketing performance: Work with the VP, Global Partner and Americas Marketing to enhance performance by setting and measuring performance targets that are aligned with business outcomes. Drive measurement of ROI for spend, incentives, programs and activities
Qualifications
8+ years demonstrated track record in leading partner marketing organizations
Marketing experience within the variety of partner types including Distributors, VARs, GSIs, Alliances, Agents, and Network Service Providers
Experience with building and growing channel partner marketing programs
Deep understanding of direct sales organizations and partner ecosystems, and how they work together
Experience with different partner marketing motions (to partners; through partners, and with partners)
Packaging and delivery of channel demand programs to partners
Ability to influence and cultivate deep relationships with a wide variety of strategic partners and internal stakeholders to drive customer value
Focus on execution and results - establishing high standards for performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable
Able to drive change, empathetic to partners and aware of what motivates them
Strong negotiation skills
Able to effectively communicate channel feedback to internal stakeholders
Strong verbal/written communications
