    Position summary

    **

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic EMEA Payroll Director to lead and further develop our regional payroll function across the EMEA region The ideal candidate will ensure "best in class" payroll services, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance across multiple countries. This role requires a transformational leader who can build strong regional and global partnerships, manage vendor relationships, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll team.

    • A high-performing, compliant, and scalable EMEA payroll function that supports business growth

    • Seamless integration of payroll processes across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions

    • Improved payroll accuracy, efficiency, and employee satisfaction through automation and process improvements

    • Strong vendor relationships and adherence to service level agreements

    • Successful implementation of payroll projects, including system migrations and M&A activities

    Responsibilities

    Regional Payroll Leadership

    • Lead and develop the EMEA payroll team to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across the region.

    • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support professional development to ensure a high-performing team

    Global Collaboration & Process Standardization

    • Collaborate with APAC and AMER payroll leaders to align processes, share best practices, and migrate toward globally consistent payroll procedures

    • Work closely with the Global Time Tracking team to ensure seamless integration of payroll and time tracking systems

    Compliance & Advisory

    • Stay current on payroll-related legislation and regulatory changes across EMEA, ensuring compliance and advising HR partners and stakeholders

    • Oversee internal and external audits related to payroll, ensuring all requirements are met

    Vendor & Budget Management

    • Manage relationships with external payroll vendors, holding them accountable to performance standards and service level agreements

    • Maintain up-to-date purchase orders, manage the regional payroll budget, and ensure accurate GL reporting

    Process Transformation & Automation

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of payroll processes

    • Lead projects such as implementing new payroll platforms, time tracking system migrations, and M&A-related payroll integrations

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and other business units to resolve operational issues and support organizational goals

    • Proactively communicate with employees at all levels to address payroll-related concerns and build trust

    Qualifications

    • Progressive Leadership experience in payroll management, with significant exposure in a regional or global leadership role overseeing EMEA payroll operations

    • Deep knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices across multiple EMEA countries

    • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP) and time tracking tools

    • Strong understanding of GL reporting, budgeting, and vendor management

    • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a regional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

    • A transformational mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation

    • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues effectively
