    Position Overview

On joining, you will be part of a global, Fortune 500 marketing function that is constantly evolving towards best-in-class marketing. This role offers a unique chance to be at the frontline of putting our global campaigns into market and optimising our go-to-market plans for an ever-changing environment.

    The role will support the execution of field marketing initiatives aimed at lead generation and customer engagement within the Australian market, particularly the mid-market sector. The ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm for continuous learning, excellent communication skills, and a focus on ROI, outcomes, and action.

    You won't be starting from scratch when it comes to creating value propositions and differentiation, but you will need to understand, interpret, and communicate the value of Equinix effectively in localising global campaigns. Strong skills in persuasive copywriting will be a plus.

    Key aspects of the role

    Collaborate with local stakeholders and wider marketing organisation to implement global campaigns and bring to market a series of demand generation activities to support overall marketing objectives and positioning.

    Work closely with the mid-market sales team to understand market dynamics, identify target accounts and growth opportunities, and communicate on marketing plans and results.

    Take accountability for the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Analytical skills will be instrumental in evaluating campaign effectiveness, and uncovering opportunities for improvement. By leveraging data and metrics, you'll be empowered to make informed decisions that maximise ROI and drive sustainable business growth.

    Consult with inside sales, field sales and marketing operations to see that marketing leads are being generated and accelerated through to pipeline and close-won.

    Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and continuously improve your knowledge and skills around marketing best practices, the Equinix martech stack, and Equinix products and solutions.

    Required skills and experience

    • Hands-on experience in B2B marketing

    • Experience working with sales teams to support pipeline generation

    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

    • Proven ability to collaborate and build strategic work relationships cross-functionally in a global and matrix organisation.

    • Experience with stakeholder management of senior managers and executives

    • Self-motivated and strives towards personal accountability

    Additional experience that makes a strong candidate:

    • Experience in a software or technology company

    • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
