    Position summary

    **

    Equinix is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Finance Enablement Manager to join the xScale Finance Transformation Office. This role plays a critical part in leading and delivering joint venture finance initiatives in collaboration with partners, investors, and internal stakeholders. You'll drive transformation projects from planning to execution while aligning with global finance systems, processes, and compliance standards.

    Responsibilities

    Program & Project Management

    • Lead the planning, design, and execution of initiatives and projects for xScale joint ventures

    • Define business and technical requirements in collaboration with functional teams

    • Manage full project lifecycle including timelines, deliverables, resources, and risk mitigation

    Finance Systems & Process Implementation

    • Interpret commercial agreements to define finance requirements and translate into operational processes

    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Tax, IT) to design scalable Finance operating models

    • Develop and review functional design documents (FDDs) and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT)

    • Coordinate system cutovers and provide post-go-live support to ensure stable operations

    • Work with IT and Finance stakeholders to execute the system cutover plan

    • Support legal entity creation and ensure readiness of finance system/modules, collaborating with Legal, Tax, Finance, and IT teams to build a roadmap for new legal entity codes and system deployment

    • Provide post-go-live support, managing support requests for timely issue resolution from stakeholders

    Governance, Communication & Change Management

    • Deliver project status updates, leadership briefings, and stakeholder communication

    • Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies

    • Create project playbooks, toolkits, and templates for repeatable execution

    • Facilitate training and change management activities for internal teams and JV partners

    Continuous Improvement

    • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies

    • Champion standardization and efficiency across finance operations and system deployments

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong relationships across global stakeholders

    • Lead cross-functional meetings and serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams

    • Manage stakeholder expectations and foster transparent, proactive communication

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 5+ years of experience in finance transformation, integration, or Finance system implementation

    • Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, or equivalent) with strong understanding of accounting principles

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (GL, Accounting Hub, Intercompany, Fixed Assets)

    • Solid understanding of legal entity structures and operational readiness for finance systems

    • Experience managing cross-functional projects in global, high-growth environments

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Excel, JIRA, and Visio for documentation and reporting

    • Strong project management, presentation, and organizational skills

    • Willingness to travel as needed

    Nice to Have

    • Familiarity with SOX compliance, change control, and US GAAP.

    • PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification.

    • Awareness of relevant US GAAP requirements.
