    Job Summary

    Our Strategic Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst with solid modeling and analytical skills whose role is pivotal in supporting the xScale FP&A organization. This role is essential in facilitating collaboration and coordination between Corporate FP&A, Accounting, BU finance leads, and the broader xScale organization.

    As a Financial Analyst, your focus will be leading a critical area of FP&A which includes, but not limited to monthly variance analysis, quarterly guidance forecasts, annual budgets, strategic long-term financial planning, KPI management, and executive presentations. The focus of this role will be on the EMEA business operations, so shift alignment to EMEA timezone will be required regardless of the individual's home location.

    The ideal candidate is a motivated, intellectually curious, responsive, detail-oriented finance professional with a great attitude and works well within a team environment. Further, the ideal candidate will possess technical skills such as: Hyperion (PBCS), financial modeling, financial analysis, communication, presentation, and organization and able to balance multiple deliverables concurrently. In addition, the ideal candidate will need to leverage creative, thoughtful problem-solving in an ambiguous environment while influencing stakeholders cross functionally.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and deliver the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports (i.e., monthly financial results deck, quarterly financial reviews, quarterly forecast presentations, budget presentations, etc.)

    • Evaluate, analyze, research, highlight and comment on key variances, risk and opportunities of each period's financial performance versus budget and forecasts

    • Prepare clear and concise materials for Executive Management; including procuring financial information, key metrics and insightful variance analysis and commentary

    • Act as trusted partner with Accounting, Treasury, BUs, and Corporate FP&A

    • Create models that deliver meaningful analysis to provide insightful data interpretations that drive potential business decisions

    • Consistently deliver high-quality work product intended for senior executives and business partners

    • Perform flux analysis as well as ad-hoc deliverables

    • Continuously drive for improvement in quality and efficiency through development of processes and tools to simplify reporting and analysis

    • Work with an entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and intellectual curiosity to continuously improve skills, scope, and professional acumen

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field preferred

    • 2-3 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, with a preference for datacenter knowledge

    • Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and database reporting and planning (Hyperion, Oracle, Anaplan)

    • Strong numerical, analytical, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail

    • Have the professional maturity to have self-awareness, time management, and ability to work a full days' work and be available and accessible during working hours

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams, in-person and remotely

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, in-person and remotely

    • Results-driven, flexible, and open mindset: adept at prioritizing a wide variety of tasks efficiently and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes, and be able to pivot quickly; coupled with a proactive approach and strong willingness to learn
